A great self help tip is to not spend too much of your time watching television. Too much television isn’t healthy because it can greatly increase your stress levels. Watching too much television also promotes a sedentary lifestyle which isn’t healthy. Try limiting the amount of television you watch everyday.
Identify bad values in your life. Systemic and institutional bias can lead us to internalize faulty things, so it’s best to address any flaws in your belief system on your path to personal development. The better you understand the basis of your beliefs, the better you will feel about adhering to it.
Analyze everything you do. If you’re practicing a core set of beliefs, identify when you practice them, how you stuck to your convictions and what this action means for both future actions and your core beliefs. This enables you to keep a clear head on your journey to personal development.
Try using the free spaces under your stairs for extra storage. These can provide you with some decent sized drawers to keep more of your stuff in. These areas are nice and cool too so they make great storage for things that are sensitive to warm or hot temperatures.
Try to enjoy your meals by eating more slowly. Not only does this help aid with your digestion, but it can allow you some time to actually taste and enjoy your food. You don’t always need to hurry when you eat; try using that time to relax and refuel yourself with nourishment.
