Stress does not have to run your life. You can be a happier, healthier and more relaxed person if you know the ways to deal with stress and have information on ways to avoid it. This article will show you many ways that you can do just that.
A great tip that can help you keep your stress levels down is to pray. Praying can help you feel at ease. It’s also great because you can do it almost anywhere. Just a little bit of praying each day can go a long way in keeping your stress down.
Stay up to date with your repairs in order to remove stress. If you have three things that need to be repaired, that is triple the effort you will have to do. It is better to stay on top of things.
Learn how to breath fully using your diaphragm. As practice, breath through your nose, and watch your belly increase in size. Hold the breath for a few seconds before releasing. These deep breaths fully oxygenate your blood, relaxing you quite quickly! In fact, it’s been found that the opposite, short breathes, can speed up your heart beat, tighten your muscles and increase your stress!
Stress can have a tremendous effect on the amount and types of food that we eat. We may have the tendency to gorge on junk food when we are stressed. Our stomachs may be so upset by the stress that we can barely eat anything. Either reaction is potentially dangerous. Minimizing your stress level can radically improve your dietary choices.

Give yourself an affirmation to say when you feel stressed. By doing this, you calm your negative inner thoughts and focus on one positive one. For example, repeating “I feel calm” to yourself can calm jangled nerves enough to look at a situation more calmly. Have a few affirmations for different situations.
Form strong relationships. Many times, those who have a support network of family and friends feel less alone and can handle their stress better because they have other people to count on. It’s easy to feel stressed when you think you’re all alone, so reach out to friends and family and make those bonds stronger.
